As the Credit Controller you will report to the APAC Financial Controller, this role requires a professional and experienced Credit Controller working within a wider team, responsible for cash collection within APAC regions for local and international customers.

You will be working to maximise cash flow, whilst minimising the bad debt risk and maintaining significant external relationships. You will be expected to provide a high level of customer service for both internal and external customers, empowered to make day to day decisions in connection to the portfolio of accounts, which does not introduce an increased risk to Biocair.

Responsibilities will include:

• Accountable for APAC ledger to maximising cash flow, minimising bad debts, and providing high levels of customer service.
• Responsible for the Credit Control, recording all customer contact and follow up actions ensuring all agreed procedures are adhered to and monthly targets are achieved.
• Responsible for cashflow and report cash collection performance and issues to APAC Financial Controller and across the business as necessary.
• To actively identify opportunities for improvement to existing processes and support any resulting actions in relation to the Finance team.
• Monthly reviews with Core operation teams, Sales and other internal stakeholders on key accounts to update on debt queries and discuss any customer concerns prior to payment delays.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:

• Credit Control experience, ideally of international ledgers
• Knowledge of credit checking & credit risk assessment and monitoring
• Strong organisational and people skills
• Mandarin and English writing, reading and speaking required
• Knowledge with intermediate Excel skills (pivots/lookups)
• Good organisational skills with strong ability to prioritise and deal with high volumes
• Able to balance diverse workload and prioritise tasks

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 18:00 and will be 100% on-site at our office in Shanghai.
