Senior People Business Partner, EMEA & APAC

This role is instrumental in delivering our people strategy and partnering with the regional business teams to deliver company objectives as well as being the trusted advisor, consultant and expert on local employment legislation and practice.
Reporting to the Global Head of People and partnering with the EMEA General Manager and local Senior Managers, the main purpose of the role is to shape and influence positive people experience through supporting on the delivery of key strategic projects and People operational activities covering the entire employment lifecycle.
This role will be a trusted partner and consultant, demonstrating understanding of the functional and business realities, addressing complex people-related challenges, providing ideas, insights, flexible and innovative solutions, risk analyses, and challenge, to shape and inform longer term strategic and operational problem-solving. The role will partner with all people managers to guide and support using and instilling a coaching approach to leadership as well as working hand in hand with the Global People function.
Responsibilities will include:
- Strategy and Projects - Supporting the design and delivery of the people strategy in line with corporate objectives to enhance employee motivation, development, and performance. Supporting the process and delivery of key projects alongside maintaining and managing relationships with third party suppliers e.g. recruitment agencies, insurances, authorities, lawyers, and consultants.
- Business Partnering - Developing a trusting, consultative relationship with managers and providing expert guidance and support, whilst building strong working relationships with managers to ensure they act fairly and consistently to achieve the best outcomes for the business. Leveraging evidence-based data analytics and other sources of intelligence to produce credible insights and recommendations to align people experience agenda with operational principles for the business. Working with the People Business Partners and Global Head of People to proactively develop, implement, and maintain People policies and processes that foster harmonious employee relations reinforcing and support our culture and values. Supporting the Talent Acquisition Team and managers to deliver the recruitment process successfully and ensure we can fill roles on a timely basis.
- Employee Experience - Providing a visible and proactive People service to the business, acting as an internal go-to and sounding board on people-related topics for employees at all levels. Providing support to other global offices as required, including supporting work required to set up or close offices and new country entities. Supporting the salary review, bonus review and calibration process within and across teams. Overseeing remuneration and employment benefits provision in region, working as needed with Reward, Payroll and local brokers on the set up and ongoing management of benefits as required. Supporting the company performance review process, ensuring objectives and development plans are agreed for all employees and updated throughout the year. Supporting the delivery and outcome of the employee engagement survey, identifying areas that require improvement; working with the management teams on action plans to address them and running pulse surveys as and when required.
- Process and Governance - completing necessary annual submissions, audits and legislative requirements for each relevant location. In collaboration with the wider People Team reviewing, improving and implementing People processes that actively support the business. Maintaining and updating the company handbooks in the relevant locations.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
- Fluent in English and either German or Dutch.
- HR generalist knowledge and experience with an excellent understanding of local employment law for Germany and/ or Belgium.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and recruitment.
- Experience of handling complex Employee relations cases successfully.
- Excellent employment law knowledge and prior involvement in policy creation
- Experience in supporting reward processes (salary review, bonus) and payroll with an understanding of best practice requirements for compliance.
- Adept advisor with good coaching skills to provide consistently trusted advice and explore options and solutions.
- Strong facilitation and communication skills with the ability to demonstrate integrity, accountability and ethical behaviour.
- Experience of delivering HR support in a global company, looking after multiple locations.
- Knowledge of wider EU Law and legislation, specifically France is highly desirable.

Please note this is a full time role, Monday to Friday 08:30am to 17:30pm and the role is offered as hybrid from our Frankfurt (64546 Mörfelden-Walldorf) office with up to 2 days per week working from home.
This is a German based role and the right to live and work in Germany will need to be established during the recruitment process.
