Business Development Executive

As the Business Development Executive you will play a critical role within the sales and marketing team. Working closely with the Business Development Manager you will support on a range of activities aimed at customer acquisition, retention and satisfaction.
Responsibilities will include:
- Build and maintain a customer list consisting of APAC based Pharmaceutical & Biotech companies, CRO’s, central laboratories and CMO’s
- Contribute to the maintenance and where possible growth of existing Biocair customers within the defined (APAC) territory
- Plan development campaigns coupled with Marketing to aid brand awareness and business presence across APAC
- Support marketing activities including attendance at industry related conference, exhibitions and symposia.
- Maintain regular customer meetings and where needed introduce key Biocair personnel including management and project management
- Identify areas for process improvements
- Attend exhibitions, industry seminars, events and networking opportunities as required.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
- Experience in sales or business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- English writing, reading and speaking is essential
- Japanese language skills are desirable but not essential
In return we offer:
- Up to 12,000 CNY per month depending on experience

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week Monday to Friday and offered as 100% onsite based from our Shanghai office (PuDong District).
This is a China based role and the right to live and work in the China will need to be established during the recruitment process.
