We are seeking a Senior Director, US Operations to lead and transform our US business delivery function during a critical phase of growth and evolution in a role where your leadership will truly make a significant difference.
This is a senior, high-impact leadership role responsible for shaping the future of our customer care and logistics operations, driving organisational change, and delivering exceptional service, quality, and commercial outcomes across the region.
The Senior Director, US Operations will provide leadership across the US operational delivery functions ensuring commercial performance, service quality and customer satisfaction through strong cross functional collaboration they will champion operational excellence whilst embedding Biocair's global ethos and values and fostering a culture that is aligned accountable and focused on delivering for customers and colleagues alike.
This is a highly strategic role working in close partnership with the Senior Management Team (SMT) and Executive Leadership Team (ELT), to drive the transformation and restructuring of central business delivery functions to realise our strategic vision and strengthen regional capability.
Responsibilities will include:
Leading large-scale operational transformation aligned to our global Target Operating Model.
Building a high-performing, customer-centric US operations organisation.
Driving service excellence, cost optimisation, and continuous improvement.
Owning regional operational performance, KPIs, and financial outcomes.
Partnering closely with the Executive and Senior Leadership Teams.
Championing safety, compliance, sustainability, and wellbeing.
Acting as the senior escalation point for complex operational challenges across the US.

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
Demonstrable capability to lead in restructuring and organisational change programmes to create large-scale, high impact operational transformation.
Exceptional people leadership and influencing skills, able to build a high-performing, customer-centric US operations organisation.
Experienced customer care professional with demonstrable success working within the specialist life science/pharmaceutical logistics industry.
Proven track record of building and leading high-performing customer and operational teams
Strong commercial and financial acumen, with a strong knowledge of data analysis and strategy – able to extract meaningful insights from data and use them to develop and make informed business decisions.
Demonstratable ability to navigate and excel in diverse cultural and global business environments, understanding market nuances and adapting strategy accordingly.

This is a full-time role 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30. The role is office based from our Raleigh office (NC 27513), and requires travel to Biocair locations across the US as required.
