We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant is to support the financial control team in the completion of month end activities in relation to Biocair China in line with reporting deadlines. 

Working closely with the APAC Financial Controller, you will play an important role in supporting the smooth day to day financial operations of the office.

You will take ownership of daily cashier activities, ensuring transactions are handled accurately and in line with company processes, while managing physical cash handling and maintaining up-to-date cash and bank records and support financial operations through cost postings, job invoicing and the accurate recording of import duties and VAT, help maintain healthy cash flow by monitoring receivables and proactively following up on outstanding payments.

Alongside this, you will collaborate with the APAC Financial Controller and wider team to provide support on additional accounting and reporting activities as required.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assist daily General Ledger input, including posting of revenue and cost transactions, regular jnl postings in line with month end closing deadlines

• Assist Senior Accountant for arranging cash/ bank payments ready for approval.

• Maintaining cash/ bank daily book and doing monthly bank reconciliation statements.

• General reporting support to APAC Financial Controller

• Credit control in respect of monies in from customers.

• Processing cash received (by BACS or cheque) onto SAGE system.

• Raising Credit Notes.

• Support APAC Financial Controller in reviewing and provide improvement in Intra Group Management Charging and reporting, ensuring intra group agreement of balances for annual close.

• Between CN¥7,000 - CN¥11,000 per month depending on experience

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (08:30-17:30) based at our office in Shanghai (Shanghai 201203)
