We are looking for a proactive and creative Learning & Development Specialist to join our Global L&D team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys shaping learning experiences, optimising digital learning platforms, and designing content that truly makes a difference.
In this role, you will split your time between managing and improving our Learning Management System and designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure our learning offering is relevant, accessible and aligned to current and emerging organisational needs.
Responsibilities will include:
Learning Platform Ownership
Take shared ownership of our Learning Management System (Fuse preferred, but experience with any LMS considered)
Shape platform structure and user experience, ensuring content is intuitive, accessible, and supports personalised learner journeys
Curate and maintain learning pathways, programmes and curricula
Use LMS features to drive self‑directed, social and collaborative learning
Analyse engagement data to identify insights and opportunities for improvement
Act as a point of contact for platform enhancements and ongoing development
Support day‑to‑day queries and manage the L&D inbox
Learning Design & Delivery
Design engaging digital, blended and face to face learning solutions aligned to business needs.
Work with stakeholders to review requirements, recommend approaches and refine existing content
Create a range of learning assets, digital learning, bite‑sized resources, facilitator guides and more
Deliver virtual and in‑person workshops confidently to diverse audiences
Travel occasionally to support in‑person delivery
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
Work closely with the wider People and L&D team to support company wide initiatives
Use data, feedback and insights to continually improve learning solutions
Keep learning content and programmes aligned with evolving business needs
Stay up to date with L&D trends, tools and best practices
Governance & Compliance
Ensure all learning content aligns with company policies, security requirements and governance standards
Provide learning data and reports to leaders as required

In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies:
Experience in Learning & Development, Learning Design or similar
Experience managing or supporting an LMS
Strong capability designing learning across digital, blended and face to face formats
Confident delivering face to face training
Understanding of learning and instructional design principles
Ability to translate business needs into practical learning solutions
Good analytical skills and ability to interpret learning data
Strong organisational and planning skills

Please note this is a full time role, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 to 17:30 and is offered as hybrid working from our Cambridge office (CB22 3EG) with up to 2 days per week working from home.
